It is different (but you can still see the old page if you want). The first ever International Day of Awesomeness is approaching and I thought it was way past time to get a blog up here so I could share the awesomeness as it happens. There are plenty of awesome things going on, and I wasn't getting very far writing a custom content management system in Rails (not very awesome of me), so decided I went with something I know, Movable Type.

I expect to be posting here at least a couple times a week, and hope to have the templates all awesome-ified in the next week or so, because defaults are not awesome.

If you're planning something for this year's festivities, I want to know about it! Post a comment, or shoot me an e-mail (kevin at dayofawesomeness.com) and let me know about it! I'll be posting a lot more details about what I've got planned, ideas for being awesome, and events I know about.
